Nobody really needs an excuse to go out and visit California, unless you're me of course.  I had an urge to find a spot where we could spend some time and be inspired. Cliche, I know... but living in Orlando doesn't exactly give you a broad selection of backdrops and when you are constantly surrounded by the work of other successful photographers you use that drive to push you and expand on what you already know.
