Priscilla Lawin | Breast Cancer Warrior | Orlando, FL

One of the biggest challenges I have, as an artist, is making sure that every story I tell is relatable. That each life entry challenges you to love more, to love better, to love harder, to love often. One of my favorites to date begins with a warrior named Priscilla. By the time I met with her she had already endured one full round of chemo, a double mastectomy and was currently battling cancer for the 2nd time and it had progressed to stage 4. Her case required an aggressive treatment every three weeks. We planned carefully around her scheduled regiment and I managed to get a group of local vendors together to treat her to a day of pampering and a photo session. At the very last minute we felt the need to make sure her husband participated too, so we had him drive to where we were and he was able to see her all dressed up and join her for a mini date. Priscilla, we are still so very blessed to have been able to spend the day with you and treat you like the queen that you are. <3
